Bob Davis Veteran's Center

Joanna Baxter of Baxter Insurance, Inc. has been passionate about helping veterans for many years now. In 2015, she helped establish the Twin Lakes Thunder Rally and the Ozark Mountains Spring Rally, local motorcycle rallies, raising funds to support local veterans. In 2019, a building in Mountain Home was purchased to turn into a daily and residential Veteran's Center to serve any veteran. Renovations and fundraising took place and in January 2022, the Bob Davis Veteran's Center officially opened. The Bob Davis Veteran's Center offers food, shelter, and clothing along with faith-based counseling, job training, education and job placement assistance for any veteran in need. The center has housing for 18 Veterans, a mess deck where any veteran can come drink coffee, tea or lemonade, play pool, darts, or cards. There is also PG Vets Screen Printing & Embroidery store onsite that offers job opportunities for veterans.
